The Hamastar area in the Kaohsiung Harbor was the first gateway for ancient immigrants as well as a critical hub that helped kick start the economy in the early years of Taiwan. Hamastar Technology was founded here and, as the name suggests, we expect to establish a path as a pioneer in the era of the Internet. Hamastar Technology was founded through investment by several international software companies (including Acer and Corel) and venture-capital companies (including Sun Yat-sen University and Hotung Group), with all senior managers recruited from the Institute of Information Industry (III) and Acer. Hamastar Technology offers software applications and services with a focus on R&D of new technologies.
